Ashleigh is an Organisational Psychologist, project manager, and experience designer with fifteen years of experience. She heads Opposite's Human Experience service, combining organisational psychology, co-design, learning design, and behavioural insight to help organisations simplify complex work, strengthen wellbeing, and improve adoption of change. Her deepest expertise sits at the intersection of leadership, systems, and frontline capability.
She works across transport, logistics, energy, health, education, public sector, and construction, with particular depth in operational and frontline environments. Her strength is connecting individual wellbeing with system-level change, designing interventions that hold up under operational pressure rather than just looking good on paper. She has extensive experience designing and delivering training across a range of contexts, including online, in project offices, and on-site with frontline workers. She is also adept at understanding the functional requirements of clients to coordinate and support system development and integrations, particularly where a human-centred approach is needed. She is also an executive coach with Coachling, Opposite's sister coaching and mental health practice, where she works one to one with leaders navigating complexity, transition, and the human side of senior roles.
Recent flagship work includes Project Simplify, a $1.2 million WorkSafe Victoria mental health initiative. She has also delivered large scale experience and digital transformation projects for GOTAFE, Sadleirs, Energy Queensland, Metro Trains Melbourne, and Solstice Energy. She led the design of an interactive Safety Playbook for Mirvac, engaging approximately one hundred roles in its development. She also led the development of a new safety management system platform for Sadleirs along with over a dozen training modules. Ash has designed and delivered a range of projects for HIVE, including strategic workshops and process and system scoping work with a range of communications and engagement teams. She also designed and delivered the AHRI award-nominated Ignite leadership program for the Level Crossing Removal Project, and recently completed Project Wide Awake, a major government-grant funded program with the freight logistics sector addressing driver fatigue across cognitive, emotional, and physical domains.
